Decision of the sub-conference
If you attract attention through misconduct such as unexcused absences or aggressive behavior, your homeroom teacher can call a meeting. At this meeting, a threat of expulsion can be issued – usually initially as a warning. Only in serious cases is expulsion threatened immediately.
You have the right to express your views in writing or verbally and explain your behavior. The teachers must also consider the consequences for you.
If a decision is made against you, you can file an appeal – many schools don’t expect this, so exercise your right! And: If you are under 18, a vocational college cannot simply expel you.
Rejection: Next school class
If your child meets the requirements but is rejected by the school, you or your parents can file an appeal within one month of receiving the decision. If the deadline is missed, the rejection becomes legally binding and can no longer be challenged.
Contradiction of school grades
Everyone knows the feeling. Your report card shows one or more bad grades, but what can you do? It’s simple: file an appeal. An informal appeal is sufficient to start with. However, it will need to be explained in more detail later. Ideally, you should provide a solid justification for your appeal right away. You can use the templates provided to write your own text, add to them, or modify them as you see fit.
